| The Database course is really of interest to those who have the task of maintaining things like membership lists for clubs or groups of people. A database is where you store details of individuals, such as addresses, subscription status, phone numbers etc. Using a database, you can extract records that fit criteria you supply. For example you may extract a list of female members or male members only. During the Database Course you will examine an existing database and then create your own database from data supplied. As the course progresses you will learn to design, edit, sort, create reports and print reports. You will also learn how to create Form Letters and print labels based on the records within the database. A very worthwhile course for club secretaries, treasurers and membership record keepers! |
