This workshop is intended for those who are connected to the internet and are interested in searching for software for just interest or a specific purpose. This may be games or
applications, music or graphics etc. In particular the downloading and installing of software programs will be covered in detail, along with the unzipping of downloaded files where
required. (See Zipping & Unzipping workshop) Most importantly, if the software was not as expected and you no longer require it, then it is equally important to uninstall the software properly to avoid possible problems occurring in your system. No special skills are required for this workshop as most of it will be by way of practical demonstration. A notebook is always handy though! |
